Fromagex was in attendance at this years American Cheese Socitey Conference in Raleigh, North Carolina. It was the first time for our team to attend the Southeastern United States, and it was a fun and very productive 5 days.
With our team in Raleigh were our collegues from our great paper manufacturer, Amcor Flexibles. Donatien and Herve helped us to preform a set of two small packaging presentations that we will share with the ACS in the coming weeks. It involved wrapping cheeses from 1 batch in different papers to see the effects during a one month period in cold storage. The results were interesting and will only help all who would like to wrap their cheese to present it the best possible way to the final customers through the supply chain from maker, to distributor and retailer.
Check back here to see the presentation and view the results.
Over the years that we have attended the annual conference, we have seen the knowledge, seriousness and growth in excellence of the cheese makers sky rocket.
The three best in show winners are all clients of Fromagex and we couldn’t be prouder of their victories. We know that their hard work is what made their win possible, and we will continue to try to help them in any way that we can. Better cheese is always the goal because it is simply delicious.
Congratulations to Best of the Best:
Best in Show - Flagsheep by Beecher’s Handmade Cheese, Washington

And great job to all of the winners in their categories. We love great cheese, especially when we are hungry!
