The Opportunity
- We are a growing, entrepreneurial company in the dairy processing sector, specializing in cheese and yogurt solutions for industrial customers.
- We are looking for a Sales & Account Development professional to support and grow our presence across the Midwest U.S. dairy market.
- We are open to two types of profiles:
- experienced B2B sales or account management professionals in food/dairy industries
- dairy or manufacturing professionals (cheesemaking, production, process, quality, or plant operations) looking to transition into a customer-facing commercial role
- This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with customers in plant environments, support technical discussions, and help grow long-term relationships across a defined Midwest territory.
- You will play a key role in both supporting existing accounts and developing new opportunities over time, with training and support provided depending on your background.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dairy processing customers (cheese and yogurt manufacturers)
- Support growth within existing accounts through identification of opportunities and customer needs
- Develop new business opportunities within the Midwest territory in a structured and supported way
- Participate in customer trials, plant visits, and technical discussions
- Work closely with plant operations, production teams, QA, and technical stakeholders
- Collaborate internally with R&D, logistics, and operations to support customer requirements
- Represent the company at selected industry events and customer meetings
- Maintain accurate activity and customer records in CRM (HubSpot)
- 3–5+ years in B2B sales, account management, or technical sales
- Experience in dairy, food ingredients, or food processing industries is an asset
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working in a remote territory environment
- Experience in dairy processing, cheese manufacturing, production, quality, or plant operations
- Strong understanding of dairy manufacturing environments and processes
- Interest in moving into a customer-facing, commercial role
- Strong communication skills and willingness to develop sales capabilities
- Hands-on, practical, and customer-oriented mindset
- 3–5+ years in B2B sales
- Dairy processing, cheese manufacturing, food ingredients, or technical food sales experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in plant and production environments.
- Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills.
- Self-directed and comfortable managing a remote territory.
